Recently the practice carried out a patient satisfaction survey. Overall the feedback has been very positive and everyone seems to be very happy with the service they are receiving from the practice. We are so glad about this as we do try hard to meet your expectations!
One issue that did come up, however, was that some of you seem uncertain what the procedure is when you have a dental emergency outwith practice working hours.
If you have a problem in the evening, at a weekend or on a bank holiday please call the practice number, a telephone answer machine will relay a message that includes the mobile phone number of the on call dentist. This dentist may be Jonathan himself or a colleague from another practice with whom we have a reciprocal arrangement. If you then call the mobile number you will be asked to leave a message and the dentist will get back to you as soon as they are available. If you the require to be seen for assessment or treatment they will make the appropriate arrangements. This may not necessarily be at Hilton Dental Practice if it isn’t Jonathan whom is on-call. Currently the fee for this call out service is £125.00. The fee is for the re-opening of the practice and includes any necessary emergency treatment provided on the day. Patients who are members of the practice membership plan can reclaim most of this fee through their insurance.
We hope that you never have to use this service but it is good to know that it is available should you require it.
